MAF signoffs.

For those that don't know--MAF is Maintenance Action Form for aircraft.

Gripe:  "Left inside main tire almost needs replacement."
Sign off:  "Almost replaced left inside main tire." 
   
Gripe:  "Test flight OK, except autoland very rough." 
Sign off:  "Autoland not installed on this aircraft."
  
Gripe #1:  "#2 Propeller seeping prop fluid."  
Sign off #1:  "#2 Propeller seepage normal."
Follow on gripe:  "#1,#3, and #4 propellers lack normal seepage."
    
Gripe:  "The autopilot doesn't." 
Signed off:  "IT DOES NOW."
    
Gripe: "Something loose in cockpit."
Sign off: "Something tightened in cockpit." 

Gripe: "Evidence of hydraulic leak on right main landing gear."
Sign off: "Evidence removed."
   
Gripe: "Number three engine missing."
Sign off: "Engine found on right wing after brief search." 
  
Gripe: "DME volume unbelievably loud."
Sign off: "Volume set to more believable level." 
   
Gripe: Dead bugs on windshield.
Sign off: Live bugs on order.
  
Gripe: Autopilot in altitude hold mode produces a 200 fpm descent.
Sign off: Cannot reproduce problem on ground. 
 
Gripe: IFF inoperative.
Sign off: IFF inoperative in OFF mode. 
 
Gripe: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.  
Sign off: That's what they're there for.
